Jamaica Bay

Recent fishing in Jamaica Bay has been excellent. Sight fishing during the day and fishing deeper shoals at night. Some large stripers are in the area but most of the fish caught on fly have been in the 4-12 pound range. The back of the bay is heating up; the good fishing should last a bit longer before all of the fish onto cooler waters.
